I'm not sure what to say about that because I consider the opening book to be
part of the program. Sometimes you can generate your own book or you can select
a different book either provided or otherwise, but I still consider the book
part of the program.

The only program that I've ever been willing to keep that had no opening book is
TSCP, other than that rather important (to me) program, I consider programs
without opening books to be unfinished work.
