Hi odell: To be defeated by top programs is just a matter of sheer necesity: they are at least IM force in any kind of game and probably GM in blitz. And you and me and probably all around this place are at most expert or just Fide master players. So we MUST be defeated 80, 90, maybe 99% of times. I never play a game with the idea that i must win, but with the idea to hold the game as much as possible and be defeated because a tiny mistake in a technical endgame. That goal sometimes I get, other times I fall in an opening mistake and I am trounced very fast. And sometimes when my brain is in a specially less stupid satet I get a draw and jump all over the house proclaming I am a genius. Nevertheless, i enjoy the challenge the same, with draws or loses and almost never winning. We are just human beings and no matter how much "above the average" in intellect we could be as someone here said, we are human nevertheles, we get tired, we think we are better in the game than actually we are, the telephone rings, your wife shout at you that the dinner is in the table, come on idiot, kids comes and ask you how to solve a math problem, the postman knocks the door, a friend call you because he want to chat and even sometimes you must do some work to pay the bills, so in fact we give too many advantages o those monsters... :-) Fernando
