I have a few wins against crafty at its default settings, but way more losses. But my machine is very old and slow. I also have scored wins agains all my other engines (exchess, faile, gnuchess, gromit, olithink and phalanx). So you do not need to be 2300 to win against them, you only need an old and slow machine 9:
