It is Little Goliath 2000 written by Michael Borgstädt. It was
preceeded by Little Goliath Gold which was generally regarded as
an outstanding program for tactial analysis but not nearly as strong
as Crafty in actual play. LG2000 plays a good game of chess
and maintains the outstanding tactical analysis quality. Michael is
hoping to release Goliath 2000 sometime later in the year. He says
it is much stronger than LG2000. As a side note I have been playing
LG on the ICC for the past 2-3 weeks under the handle heatstroke. It
currently has a 2860 or there abouts rating, running on a k6-3 450. LG
2000 is suposed to be available with the Nimzo 7.32 CD.
