Unix runs on Alpha, at least Digital sells them with the operating system
preloaded.
I have noticed that everybody is biased towards some particular system, so take
this in account when asking for suggestions. People tend to like the machines
they use most of the time. If I were as wealthy as Michael Jackson then I would
get a Sun (:
I did not search for Alpha clones, but Bruce remark about their price should be
correct and now I switch my personal preference to an Alpha clone. Still, I
better do not buy a computer: my house is full of electronic devices I seldom
use and I do not need one more.
