The conditions are very favourable to him. Any >sort of endgame is hopeless for the world, due to the voting system. I have analyzed very carefully the endgame resulting "rook and bishop against knight and four pawns". My conclusions is that it is wining for white ... but the subtilities arising are extreme. I have used all top commercial programmes and my opinion is that GK can only win if he devotes a lot of time and effort to analyze this exceptional position... and I don't know if he is in a situation to do it. Anyway my suggestion is to avoid this endgame if possible. Tom Casanovas
