>Hello Joshua, >I guess you know the HiarcsMark varies a lot with hash memory. Anyway with my >K6-3-450 I get short HiarcsMark of 190 (37.9s) 54Kn/s using 16 Meg hash memory. >My long Hiarcs mark is 375 (403.9s) 47Kn/s using 64 Meg hash memory. >Your K6-2-300 can probably be overclocked to 350 or 375. (I was >unsucessful in trying to get mine to 500 although I had overclocked my K6-2-350 >to 400. >Jim Walker I ran several test's and found that with 64 meg 35840 (35MB) is my best setting for the long test and 1 or 4 meg for the short test (rumor has it that with the one meg the nps isn't accurate i haven't a clue. I have seen results on a K6-3 400 of 49Kns but i don't think the HT size was mentioned so if possibly we can get everybody in on this to test their machines with settings of 1,4 ,35 and 64MB we can use this as a sort of refrence. Anyhow i was also wondering i remember seeing Cpu99mark results for K6-3 450's at 47 and i know mine for my k6-2 300 is 23.5 therefore it should be atleast twice the Knps count on your comp and it isn't see what i am getting at please explain comp results maybe it isn't if the number is double the machine is twice as fast .....
