I'm not quite sure why you feel that this is what he is asking for. Indeed, if it is what he is requesting, then yes, the thread should be removed. However, I took his request to mean that he wanted someone to write a program that operated outside of CM6000 and acted as a winboard interface. If this was done, no hacking ore changing of the CM6000 code would be entailed at all. Instead you would be redirecting a copy of the data that is sent to and from the screen, to winboard. This would let you use the CM6000 engine as a winboard engine. I would like that, because, then I could use the auto232 functionality in Fritz and in Junior to test the strength of CM6000 against other programs without having to sit in front of the screen and manually transfer the moves. I wouldn't pay $100 for that though. Richard
