THEN it attacks. I respect this chess-philosophically.

Hey! This is the way _I_ play! I don't think it is boring.

I studied Fischer and Karpov a great deal. The Richard Lang programs in Mondial,
Berlin, and Genius 2 reminded me distinctly of Karpov. I enjoyed knowing that if
I made NO tactical error, I could play interesting games with a vastly superior
opponent. It seemed to me at the time that they defeated me LIKE Karpov would
(if he respected my play).
I don't enjoy JUST being tactically shredded. Any of the FREE engines can do
that!
Perhaps other programs know more about attacking, but Genius is interesting too.
(My rating is 1803 USCF.)
