We have moderators allowing people to post about hacking a program, which mean getting in and changing the program code. You can change the CM6K program if you intend to gain nothing from it, finacial or otherwise, but you will have to notify and get the ok from mindscape, otherwise it is illegal. So I am afraid that allowing those posts about hacking programs means that CCC is letting people put up money for illegal acts. And since CM6K was mentioned you now know the CM6K copyright, what are you going to do about it moderators. I suggest you look into it and if these posts remain then I am sure that someone responsible on here would find it was their duty to inform mindscape that there is a place offering money to change their program and they would have to keep their eyes on this place. Mindscape would maybe have to send Steve (who is a really great bloke, and I am positive would not want the hassle) a communication to watch this in future. Even though this hack might be harmless, it is still illegal to change the CM6K code without their permission, So unless the person who posted the reward for anyone who can change the CM6K program so it can be used in Fritz can show Mindscape permission then I strongly suggest the whole thread be deleted. Otherwise you are allowing this place to be used to illegal acts. Either way the moderators have already allowed the challenge to get out, and I am sure that someone will try to illegally do it. I think Mindscape should be informed by someone responsible on here.
