Doesn't make any real difference.  I use "fail-soft" alpha-beta, which looks
as I gave it.  He uses normal alpha/beta.  The only difference is that on a
fail-high or fail-low, my variation will return a score outside the original
alpha/beta window while his won't...  but they search exactly the same nodes
and get exactly the same score if it is a real score.
