The ChessBase multiengine system is quite flexible and it is possible that you haven't got something right. I am using the 17 January 1999 version of the adapter for Cilian (22,528 bytes) and it works fine with my Fritz 5.32. I should work with Hiarcs 7.32 too. Here's my *.init file for Cilian 4.13, it may help: [Parameter] CommandLine = Cilian -hash17 -xboard -mvnw Engine = Cilian 4.13 Author = Francois Scheurer [Support] AnalyzeMode = False PonderMode = False BTW, you can download the 4.13 version from my site: http:\\www.cent.co.yu/chess Regards, Djordje
