I had a whole big text file on it at one time but I'm sure I don't have at any
more, yes black and white are mirrored across the board, Bishops on different
colors, and one rule (according to Fischer I think but I may be wrong about this
rule) is that the King is placed between the Rooks.

I went and downloaded and tried the old Gromit that I mentioned since I brought
it up I wanted to see it again, and Gromit 1.2 does not put the King between the
Rooks, but I think that it might be a detail that Frank got wrong, maybe someone
will speak up about that. I'm sure that if you did a Yahoo or Lycos type of
search for Fischer Random that they'd point you to some sites with it outlined.

There's also some Chess variation sites that have rules for all of the
variations, sorry I don't have any links handy.

I have generally found playing against a Fischer Random opening positions to be
very difficult, a program addopts to it better than I do.

An odd side note, that old Gromit 1.2 actually comes with a few old Edwards
style engame tablebases!
