OK, Here is my crafty.rc file: log on learn 000 hash=6M hashp=2M computer book on book random 1 book width 3 exit When I use Crafty 16.x with Winboard 4.03 with the book.bin/books.bin that Bob built everything is fine. Crafty uses the book moves. I was trying to build Small.txt (renamed to small.pgn). When I use the small book that I built, Crafty leaves book quickly (1.e4, 1.e5, 2.nf3, out of book).
