I have no idea what this guy is talking about, but there is _no_ plug in card that will make a PC chess program run 40% faster. Because the card doesn't replace the cpu. This soulds like mainly quackery... in years gone past new video cards did make some applications run faster, but not a compute bound chess engine. The only case I know of that did this was the old ChessMachine that actually included a separate CPU that ran the chess program, and used the PC as just the I/O device. A CPU faster than a Pentium III/600 is going to be pricey... and impractical...
