Does this include not sending Emails to the moderators about deleting a post?

If so, then I must disagree strongly. This is a moderated forum. There has to be
a mechanism to inform the moderators of problems.

If not, then why didn't you just say this in the first place? Many of us have
been saying for quite some time that people should avoid posting "this should be
deleted" posts and should instead Email these types of messages to the
moderators directly. We are willing to accept both mechanisms, but we have a
preference.

But, I have strayed from your original outrage that a post was deleted to a
discussion on how to inform the moderators of a problem. I must point out that
there have been many "this should be deleted" types of posts on this forum and
actual deletion has only occurred corresponding to a few of them. I guess I just
do not understand your outrage over one that was deleted when the original
author was not outraged. And from these two thoughts, I must conclude that you
do not really believe in a moderated forum at all since you 1) are outraged over
a deletion that did not outrage the original poster and 2) you point out
repeatedly that there is a trend for intolerant people to post "this should be
deleted" while ignoring the fact that the moderators take everything on a case
by case basis and do NOT just use automatically delete a post when a person
posts that this should be deleted.

If all it required was a "this should be deleted" post in order to get a post
deleted, then I could understand why you would be bothered by other people's
"intolerance". But, since the moderators use those posts the same way that they
use an Email to the moderator to delete a post (on a case by case basis), then
it would seem that you should not care since that is what the moderator's job is
suppose to be, regardless of how they are informed. To me, this is just
intolerance on your part since you ignore the results (unless it is to complain
about a deletion) and just look at the means.
