If you wish to vote on any of the five issues, you may do so by clicking on the Computer Chess Resource Center link at the top or bottom of this page. I decided to re-post the question about tolerance to off-topic posts just to see if there is any change in the attitude of the current membership from the original poll on June 4, 1998. You can access the results of all previous polls from a link on the polling page. The hypothetical question about a proposed dedicated chess computer is just that. It is not based upon any plans just my own little private fantasy based upon all of those years when a computer program came encased in a dedicated machine and software was just dream. Thanks to Francesco Di Tolla and Mark Schreiber for your submittal of poll questions and answers. Francesco's question deals with electronic format of chess materials, and Mark gets credit for the computers in qualifying matches question. We have automated the process of putting up poll questions, so hopefully we can keep the polling place active from now on. But it will be up to the membership to submit questions AND possible answers. Just email us at yourmove@icdchess.com. - Steve (ICD/Your Move)
