I agree that the question is intresting. However, in the absense of data, it is just another form of: "How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?" You can debate it for hours, but as you can well imagine -- a true resolution is impossible. That is one reason that I am so greatful for Ed's Rebel GM experiments. This kind of data can really pin down the answer to form reliable estimates.
