Recently I digged up an old computer chess book from like 1981 from my basement, and they had these $2000 computers with sensory boards, back then on something like 68020 with 8 MHz! I was thinking that today, at that price, you could have the same high-end board with at least a 200 MHz CPU, 64 MB RAM and "The King" or Hiarcs as engine. Funny this poll is now echoing this idea... :) [Maybe even the latest 400 MHz PII as you can get a laptop with this for $3000, but wouldn't need the TFT display and huge HD.] --- Shep
