Crafty is top on my list. All the ones I have tried are
great! I would recommend all. The rest: Rebel Decade,
Comet, LGoliath, Fritz 4 (CB Light).

I play Winboard/Crafty/CDB/Extract/TBgen/Enormous Book.
Hard to beat on a PII-300 with 64M, but then it would be
a lot harder on a 4x500 Celeron machine.

When I travel, I take Winboard/Crafty/SSDF.pgn (book with
duplicates removed). This fits on one 3.5" disk and is a lot of
fun!

Best Regards,
Chris Carson
