Subject: Object-Oriented COBOL

To My Fellow Members:

I am just beginning a COBOL college class and they have developed an
object-oriented addition to the traditional COBOL (85).  I was wondering if it
is possible to use this to create a chess program (with a GUI)?  Are there any
programs out there where this was used?  If so, can I retrieve the code?

As I said, I am a rank beginner so I do not have a comprehensive grasp on all of
this ... forgive any ignorance in my questions.
