I have started a match between CST-2(K6-3-450/256Meg Ram) and Crafty 16.15(PII-333/128 Meg Ram). Here are the first two games. Yes sometimes if you are lucky you can force CST-2 to play black (It's not easy with my setup). In my opinion this is not the strongest version of Crafty but I don't have enough data to prove this. In any case it should provide an interesting match even though Crafty is running on slower hardware. The match is being run using the auto232 of Remi Coulom. This is the WCrafty1615.exe from Bob's site. In the second game a problem developed where CSTal-2 stopped moving around move 33. This happened when I was away and I had to restart the programs and finish the game manually. In the same game at move 35 CSTal-2 expected Crafty to recapture the rook with the Queen and had a large negative score (-9 something). Crafty captured with the pawn and CSTal-2 score went down to about the same as Crafty (About 2.3 favor Crafty). Did Crafty miss something here?
