I believe that there are many exceptions so it is not a rule. Centaur is a slow searcher and only examines 500 positions per seconds but failed in WCCC at slow time control. I do not think it can do much worse at blitz. I believe that there are many slow searchers that are slow because the programmers do not know how to make them fast with the same knowledge Uri > >>Uri
