Thanks Not at all computer related but the books I'd recommend would be Irving Chernev's "Logical Chess, move by move" & "The Most Instructive Games of Chess ever Played". Chernev was a pioneer, all his books are good. And "Lasker's Manual of Chess" and Tarrasch's "The Game of Chess". Both are classic books that explain Chess & it's concepts very well. I've noticed that the books that I like seam to be written by people who are allready dead, just an observation. Pete
