On my PII-400 and with the same settings used for the ICC game, the version of Rebel that played yesterday against Hoffman doesn't pick 40.Rg4 at any moment. Instead, it prefers 40.b3 from ply 6 on, after 2 seconds and for the 15 minutes it has been computing this position. If Rebel had won this game, it wouldn't have been considered a valid victory.
