Winning chess strategy, winning chess brilliancies, both written
by yasser seirawan.Both superb for beginners and intermediate players.
 Also  Aaron Nimzovitch's classic "My System", a VERY difficult chessbook but
the rewards will be  immense if you have the stamina to read it.
