Thanks for the info. I fully agree that kibitzing in a game involving a human is
crass. But I would have thought the arbiter would see to it that the GM wasn't
receiving outside help in this case, however inadvertent it might be. Quite
often someone would be kibitzing the next 12 ply of Fritz' analysis before being
hushed. This gives the GM an unfair advantage.
I think their are a couple of solutions. The first would be to have the ICC
software guys come up with a "nokib" setting for the interface which allow
whispers only during specified games.
The other solution would be to have the arbiter enforce the kib=0 rule for thje
GM. Anything else is giving the GM an unfair advantage.
