I think the best ones are the ones that have to be wound up and make that
ticking sound that drives your opponent nuts. I hate the modern electric and
digital clocks. I'd rather hear that insistant ticking sound. USCF had some very
good Insa clocks that were made in Yugoslavia, but it's hard to say if the
factory even exists anymore, but those were some very well made clocks,
dependable and loud, no batterys to replace.

If you can get hold of one of those you'll need to practice with it so that it
doesn't effect you but distracts your opponent.
