Right, Enrique reported that also 41.Kg2 can not be re-produced and it is true.

No this is done deliberately. Rebel will focus on the human clock and in
case the situation is safe Rebel will move (almost) instantly. It is something
new in Rebel and sofar I am pretty pleased with its behavior. I also tested
this trick against computers to verify the new algorithm, it is ok.

You are right Hoffman is a great player. After the game he said that 16.Qc1
was a bad move and he thought that 15..Rb7 was an improvement of the
opening theory of the Benko-Gambit.
