Yes.. if you are using xboard 4.0.2 or later...  just add

ZIPPYNOPLAYCRAFTY=1

however you have to to get it into the "environment" for winboard.  Winboard
will automatically detect crafty clones, abort the game, and +noplay the
program.

in unix

setenv ZIPPYNOPLAYCRAFTY 1
