In fact there is an update of the winboard version of Nimzo2000 which is *as
strong* as the original program and Millenium has received this version months
ago (before the WCCC in Paderborn) but it is beyond my knowledge why they did
not make it available for the public. There have been some legal problems
between the program author Chrilly Donninger and the millenium Company but you
have to ask Millennium what they have in their mind.

I personally can assure you - as a member of the Nimzo team - that this update
version is without doubt a) as strong as the stand alone Nimzo2000 and b) the
strongest available winboard-engine around as it recently won the winboard
engine tournament which results have been posted here. We sent them that version
i am refering about here!

Hint: Currently the Winboard version is playing on ICC under the handle
"Varguz". You can see from its playing results how strong this program really
is!

Sorry if you are dissapointed but as i said above - ask the Millennium company.
