You can estimate all you want, but if you want to know you must let the programs play. Anything else is just guessing. I would bet Crafty could beat some of the programs in the top 10. The new versions of Crafty are getting very strong. I know this because I test Crafty. 10 MChess Pro 6.0 41MB P200 MMX 2506 28 -28 637 57% 2454 Here is the # 10 ranked program on the SSDF list. If you don't think Crafty would have a good chance of besting this program. Then you have not seen the latest version of Crafty play.
