Yes Crafty would most likely win on equal hardware. I know crafty plays better on fast hardware then slower hardware. So with the two programs playing on PII or PIII's I think Crafty could best some of the programs in the top 10. It is less clear to me if the match were run on two P200 computer, because I don't test on this slow of hardware.
