I happened across this site at http://www.omegachess.com/ About Omega chess which has a fex extra rules and pieces, It even has some reviews and comments by various chess grandmaster like GM Alex Sherzer, and this comment made by GM Michael Rohde. "mega Chess may well change the way we play chess. I have seen many chess variants and for me they all make two fundamental errors, they change the set up of what already works and they create a fundamental imbalance in the powers and dynamics of the game . Omega Chess is the first game that feels right and improves your regular chess game. All the Grandmasters and Masters I have played all say Omega Chess is not only a tactical delight but is fun to play and worth serious study." Are these guys serious, I downloaded a program a while ago that was similar if not the same game. I found it not to my liking and deleted it 30 mins later. I do not think this will threaten chess like some of these GM's say. I think it is a pretty stupid game actually. Any other people played this
