I wish to thank Robert Hyatt and all of the others who have responded to my original question. I now realize that Hyatt cannot set up his own program to play on equal hardware with the programs such as Hiarcs 7, Nimzo 99 and Fritz. I will simply have to be satisfied with what takes place between my Hiarcs on the MacIntosh versus the crafty clones such as Data and Singacrafty. I still would like to see another Harvard Cup. I feel that the reason we do not have one is that the top USA players realize the computers could now play even or perhaps better than our top ten. The computers scored 38% in the last one. They could certainly do better today!
