I know I shouldn't say this, but I found CM4000 a very strong program. I think
it would give most players a tough time. It did have its problems. The last
price I saw for it was less than ten dollars. I don't have it on the computer
any more. I like to go over variations and do analysis and the Chessmaster
programs weren't much good for that. I got the CM6000 for $19. A real bargain.
But while a very good program and a best buy, I don't use it for the reasons
stated. If it had a good analysis feature I would probably use it. It has a
powerful engine and lots of features other programs do not have. I can't see why
anyone would say bad things about it. Jay
