The Grandmaster has a display and control buttons on both sides of
the board so you can sit on either the white side or the black side
when playing. The Cougar, like the older GK2100, allows you to sit
in one place and have your choice of either playing black or white
(the feature is called "Playing Black from the Bottom".)

We have had very few problems with the Excalibur Grandmaster. The
biggest complaint that we hear is that the green board occasionally
peels up on the sides, but they have mostly corrected that problem
in the new ones that we now sell. The fix, if it happens, is to apply
a drop of Elmer's glue.
