Maybe a poll question.

Are you directly, indirectly, peripherally, or not at all reliant on Microsoft
for your livelihood?

For example, I create NT support products for another computer company, so I
would be considered to indirectly rely on Microsoft. Eugene would be considered
to directly rely and a secretary who uses MS Word or Excel (or even just Windows
95) would be considered to peripherally rely. We had a lot of controversy once
on "If Microsoft tried to build a chess program", but I'd bet that we would be
surprised at how many people replied with indirectly or peripherally. And, of
course, if your supplier uses Microsoft products, but you do not, are you
considered peripherally or not at all reliant? Tough question.
