i have had all sorts of chess programs , you name it i have owned it .i think the engine in cm6000 is very strong possibly only shredder when it comes out and maybe hiarcs 7.32 are maybe stronger .as for the oppening book , i get most programs out of there book real fast so to me thats not a factor .the area that i dont like is: 1.i have to have the cd in cd rom really irritates me 2.no egtb = behind the times 3.no learning ,not good but despite this i still think it is very strong .plus it was well worth the $9.99 that i paid for it .the first thing i did was play it against crafty ,cm won.so then played vs fritz cm won .so i thought well it plays very strong .there are lots of things id change about most of the programs i own .right now my favorite is hiarcs 7.32 .
