I think I'm able to make a program which can generate: KQQKQQ. But unfortunately I'm not experienced enough with programming tablebases. Also I'm limited in time because I have a LOT of work to do for the Chess Formats Page. If other people will help me with ideas/programming/etc then let me know (rudolf@stad.dsl.nl). If at least 2 people will support me I will take the job. I know that generating a 5-men tablebase on a pentium II 450Mhz with a lot of memory (+/-512MB) will take about 2 days with Eugene's algorithm. As far as I was thinking I will use a different approach (mate-in-1, mate-in-2, etc) but I've no idea how long it will take to generate KQQKQQ with such a program. Btw. for KQQKQQ u need one file (WTM) because material for both sites is equal. Also I will use a different indexing scheme which generates a bigger file but which might be faster. >Is anyone following the game? Any views on the event, game and current >position? Yes, I'm folowing it now and then and posting sometimes analysis of moves.
