Hi Ed, doesn't splitting up in more groups give you a lot more to test on submitted settings? Does one has to sent in under a certain group? this is difficult as already stated by you because of the difference of CPU speed etc. On the other hand you already have to test all aspects like blitz and tactics to come to a jugement on overall best improvement, so maybe splitting up doesn't cost you that much extra time. Maybe it would be best for every entry to state the used hardware and hash table size. Ernst-J.
