But Linux folks are typically tightwads. Why will they shell out for CM when they can get Crafty+Xboard free? You will find bazillions of Win* users who will buy commercial simply because crafty's install is way to complex for them. For the average Linux user, it is as simple as falling off a log. In other words, the Linux audience tends to be hard core hackers for the most part, where as Win stuff will be just as likely to be garbagemen and asparagus pickers.
