Your approach is very intelligent. Keep things simple, make sure it works, make
sure you understand everything before moving forward. Most programmers have a
tough time resisting the temptation to add "enhancements" before they understand
and debug the more critical parts of their program. Please do not apologize for
your programs current playing level. Congratulations are in order.
