On the PC, anyway, CM6000 is MUCH stronger then CM4000. I'm a bit unsure that the Mac versions would have exactly the same engines, but looking at the SSDF site (http://home3.swipnet.se/~w-36794/ssdf/nr000.htm) and adjusting for processor speeds, it looks like CM6000 is about 150 points stronger than CM4000 on the PC. Note to mention that CM6000 knows what PGN is and has a more decent piece set, etc. I hope this product comes out - I'll buy it (but then, I always do). Richard A.
