You might try one of the old versions of Mac Chess for download at Gambitsoft
at: http://www.gambitsoft.com/mac.htm

I'm quite sure you don't need to buy a used program to get something good to run
on an old Mac OS.

I have a few links for Mac users on my web page at:
http://members.xoom.com/avochess/avochess.htm but I think you'd do just fine
looking at what Gambitsoft has for download. Good luck.

Pete
