I've included my engine in Fritz, using Winboard.eng and, having a look at my log file, I've realized that Fritz, after each move, sends the command 'new' and then sends again all the game moves to my engine in force mode. This causes my log file to be too large. Does anybody know why does Fritz do this? Another question: what should I do for Fritz shows my NPS's (I've seen that other engines, like Crafty, shows their NPS). I print my node count as the Winboard documentation says I must do but, anyway, Fritz doesn't show them. Thanks in advance. José C.
