However, both GNUChess (free) and Checkmate (cheap) will work for you - both will run on a Mac Plus. For GNUChess, go to: http://www.gambitsoft.com/mac.htm (note - everything else here requires at least a 68020 chip) For Checkmate, go to: http://www.mac-o-rama.net/ and put "checkmate" in the search box.
