I do not agree that there is no need for it. people always want programs to be faster. If he can do it easily then I see no reason not to do it. If he cannot do it easily then I doubt if he could do it in WCCC with the same program because I believe that he was busy in improving shredder and using time for doing a parallel program is not going to give him the same time for improving shredder.
