Hi,

nice to hear that there will be a chess-gui for KDE!
As far as I know there is already a project called KChess which
also tries to implement a chess-gui for KDE. I'm almost sure
the author stopped the project (we exchanged some mails about
a year ago and I forgot his name, I'm afraid). Maybe you find
something about this KChess on the KDE-pages and maybe you can
contact it's author and cooperate?
