Queen endings are very difficult. I don't think anybody understands the computer
analysis of KQPkq. Here the black pawns might actually help shield the white K
and since his g-pawn is closer to queening... Aftre 52. Qe2+ Kd8 or the
evaluation after even 51.Kh6 are not so obvious to me, but then I haven't looked
at it very long.
